“My first CoreTalk session with Greg and Antonia was amazing. The combination of spiritual and practical information sets them apart.” Lark Coryell
CoreTalk is a healing arts discipline combining Western medical principles of anatomy, physiology and biochemistry with Eastern concepts of chi (body energy) and the meridian/chakra system through which body energy flows. CoreTalk provides a means for communicating with the body consciousness – our “silent partner” who, when at optimum health, orchestrates every physiological process in the body with exquisite timing and precision.
Imagine your healthy body and mind: strong, dependable, clear. CoreTalk can help you achieve your life as you would like to live it.
We begin the session discussing what the client wants to work on. The client then relaxes on the massage table, face up, and Antonia and Greg ask the client’s body questions about that concern. They use applied kinesiology (muscle testing) to receive answers to their questions while lightly touching the person to act as the client’s energetic “extension cord.” In muscle testing, pressure is applied to the hand while the arm is out in front of the person. If the arm goes down, the person’s energy field is weak and thus the answer is no, if the energy field is strong, the arm remains aloft and the answer is yes. Doing this process over and over again would be tiring for the client, thus Antonia and Greg take on the job! If the client shows a blockage in a meridian due to a stuck emotion, they gently trace the meridian on the client’s body to clear the blockage.
The first session takes approximately two hours. In this initial appointment the client completes a personal history intake form that documents habits, medical history, and any psychological impacts. Subsequent appointments are an hour or an hour and one half depending on what the client requests. Appointments for children or animals are shorter as their attention span dictates.
Everyone has different needs. Most people feel a significant change after their first visit. For those who have long standing or chronic issues, it could take several sessions to identify and resolve the details of the problem. We suggest returning in three to four weeks after the initial appointment to allow time for the changes to settle in. However, many people come sooner, even once a week in order to have a faster pace of change. Many people also come back once a month or for a periodic “tune up” to deal with whatever is happening in their lives, physically or emotionally.
Comfortable clothes are suggested, and we ask that you refrain from wearing any perfume or scent. You will be lying face up on a massage table for the appointment, so we ask that you remove your shoes. Socks are suggested if your feet get cold.
We believe that a full array of health care providers is important to ensure health and well being. CoreTalk does not constitute treatment, nor is it medical or diagnostic in nature. It is not a substitute for qualified medical, therapeutic, or chiropractic care although it can work in a complementary fashion with any or all of these disciplines.
